How to get there

The Parco Fluviale del Po torinese extends itself in the province of Torino with areas in the provinces of Cuneo and Vercelli.
To get there, it is advisable to use the method bike + train to go along the long network of cycling routes, or to choose among the following solutions.


By car

  • A21/A55 (Torino-Piacenza)
    exit of Moncalieri, to the Area Attrezzata del Molinello and the Area Attrezzata Le Vallere.

  • A4 (Torino-Milano)
    • exit of Rondissone, to the Riserva Naturale Speciale del Mulino Vecchio, the Riserva Naturale Speciale dell'Isolotto del Ritano, and Riserva Naturale Speciale della confluenza della Dora Baltea
    • exits of Chivasso or Brandizzo, to the Riserva Naturale Speciale della confluenza dell'Orco e del Malone, and the Riserva Naturale Speciale della confluenza della Dora Baltea
    • exit of Torino, to the Area Attrezzata Arrivore e Colletta and the Riserva Naturale Speciale del Meisino e dell'Isolone di Bertolla.

    • exit of Carmagnola, to the Riserva Naturale Speciale della confluenza del Maira, the Riserva naturale Speciale della Lanca di San Michele, and to the Area Attrezzata dell'Oasi del Po Morto
    • exit of Moncalieri to the Riserva Speciale della Lanca di Santa Marta e della confluenza del Banna, the Area Attrezzata del Molinello and to the Area Attrezzata Le Vallere.

Buses:

  • The following bus lines are particularly useful: the provincial lines n. 259 TORINO-LA LOGGIA-CARIGNANO-CARMAGNOLA main route Torino sud and the n. 5 TORINO-CHIVASSO-BROZOLO main route Torino Nord, bordering the river Po, touching several Municipalities and Park protected areas.     You can reach the airport by taking the A4, A5, A6, A21 and A32.
    • The connections to and from the airport Sandro Pertini are carried out by a bus leaving from the station of Porta Nuova, a stretch taking 40 minutes. For information: Tel. 011/3000611, www.sadem.it/orari_tariffe.htm at the item airports.
    • From the Railway Station Dora the Satti line offers a connection with the airport; the service will take place along the railway line, the stretch takes 30/40 minutes: free phone number 800.99.00.97.

How to get to the Park Seat in the Area Attrezzata Le Vallere (Moncalieri)

 

Urban Bus Service with Suburban Routes:

  • Line 40 (only weekdays)
    • from Torino: get off in Moncalieri, stop "Peschiera" (n° 1035), (Corso Roma n° 27), cross the traffic lights of Corso Roma, turn left and continue under the portico (100 mt), then turn right in Via Bosso, reach the overpass and cross it: the entrance of the Park is behind you

    • from Moncalieri get off at the stop "Peschiera" (n°1036), turn left under the porticos, go ahead for 100 m, turn right in Via Bosso, once you get to the end cross the overpass: the entrance of the Park is behind you

  • Lines 45 (weekdays)
    • from Torino: get off at the stop "Maroncelli" (n° 3064), reach the traffic lights on your right and cross Corso trieste, then go ahead on the right in Corso Trieste, after the bridge you will find the entrance of the Park; as an alternative, get off the bus, turn left, go beyond the gas station and the bridge, get to the overpass and cross it: the entrance of the Park is behind you

    • from Moncalieri get off at the stop "Bosso"(n°3061), on your left you will find the entrance of the Park at 200 mt.

  • Line 45 (holidays)
    • from Torino: get off in Moncalieri, follow the above-mentioned indications for the line 40.

    • from Moncalieri: follow the above-mentioned indications for the line 40.

Urban Bus Service:

  • Line 2 (weekdays and holidays)
    direction Piazza Bengasi, get off at the terminus, stop "Corradino" (n°163) and reach the traffic lights at the crossroads between Via Ventimiglia and Corso Maroncelli, follow Corso Maroncelli in the direction of the river Po; once you get to the traffic lights cross Corso Trieste and turn right, go ahead beyond the bridge: you will find the entrance of Vallere at 100 mt.
