Park Info Points

Po Torinese Park Authority has two information points:

1) Le Vallere - Moncalieri Recreational Area

- Access to the public and Park Authority Secretary of Po Torinese Park: from Monday to Friday, 8.30 a.m. - 12.30 p.m.

- Access to Le Vallere Park:
every day, from 16th October to 15th March: 7.00 a.m. - 6.00 p.m.
every day, from 16th March to 15th October: 7.00 a.m. - 9.00 p.m.

Le Vallere Park is equipped with:

  • Kiosk-bar with organic products (open only on Saturdays and Sundays)
  • Toys for children
  • Benches
  • Fountains
  • Cycling and pedestrian tracks
  • Horse riding activities
  • Enclosure where you can leave your dogs without leash

The use of the Recreational Area is ruled by L.R. 18/87.

Within Le Vallere Recreational Area there are the Carlo Allioni Phenological Gardens (Italian text)

Congress Hall
Within Cascina Vallere, housing the Head Offices of the Park Authority, there is a Congress Hall, which can be temporarily used by other subjects on payment.

Open to the public on:
Tuesdays and Wednesdays 9.00 a.m.-12.30 p.m.
Thursdays 9.00 a.m.-12.30 p.m. and 3.00 p.m.-6.00 p.m.
Saturdays and Sundays 3.00 p.m.-6.00 p.m.

In the museum you will find:

  • dioramas on natural environments

  • exhibit halls for temporary displays

Po Torinese Park includes 12 special protection areas (Italian text) and other places of particular interest which you can better discover through the services of guided visits offered by the Park Authority. As a matter of fact, there are 66 official nature guides working for the Park and carrying out educational activities for schools.

The area of Po Torinese Park is very large and extends from the Province of Cuneo and Vercelli, crossing the whole Province of Turin. Therefore, in the Park territory there are 3 welcome centers and local tourist boards:
